Bridal Makeup in Israel, by Moran Stavizki

There is no trial, and that is deliberate
Most artists sell you a rehearsal. Moran has never offered one. A magazine cover is a face she has often never met, shot once, under a lens that finds every edge you did not blend, and the result sits on a shelf for as long as the issue runs. Twenty years of that is why she does not need a practice run on your face.
What you get instead is a conversation. Once your date is held, you and Moran talk it through, on video or in person: your skin, what you have worn before, what you never want to see on yourself, the dress, the light in the room where you will get ready, and the hour the door has to open.
A trial tells you how you looked in a studio on a Tuesday in March. The conversation tells her who you are.
Work that had nowhere to hide
A cover is the least forgiving work in this profession.
Print finds every edge you did not blend, and the result stays on the shelf for as long as the issue runs, where anyone can go back and look at it.

She began on the other side of the camera, modelling and acting. That is where she learned what light does to a face, and why a look that is beautiful in the mirror can come apart under a lens. Most brides never think about it. They do not have to.

Read enough of them and the pattern is hard to miss. The calm in the room comes up more often than anything else, more often than the makeup itself. That the makeup was still there at the end of the night comes second.
The morning, not only the face
That calm is not temperament. Twenty years of shoot days that run to a clock teach you to plan a morning backwards from the moment the door has to open, and to build in the slack nobody else thinks to build in.
The makeup itself takes an hour, ninety minutes at the outside.

Send your wedding date and where you are getting married. Dana runs Moran's diary and answers in English.
Hold the date
A deposit holds it. Moran takes one wedding per date, so from that moment the day is yours.
Your consultation with Moran
On video or in person. Your skin, your dress, the light at your venue, and your timings. She arrives on the day already knowing your face.
The wedding morning
She comes to you and works to a schedule agreed in advance. A touch-up kit stays with you for the evening, and if you want her there through the ceremony and the reception, she can be.

What it costs
The price for bridal makeup is fixed. It is the same for every bride: no tiers, no pricing by venue, by season or by date. What gets added is travel outside Tel Aviv, and makeup for the bridal party, the mother of the bride and the family, by number. Send your date to Dana and you get the full figure for your day.
If the wedding is not in Tel Aviv
Moran travels. Across Israel, and abroad when the wedding is abroad.
For a bride flying in that usually means a getting-ready room she has never seen, a schedule built around somebody else's landing time, and half the bridal party still in another country. None of that is new here. The consultation happens on video, the timings are agreed before you land, and every message from the first one to the last runs in English.
Travel outside Tel Aviv is added on top of the fixed price. For a wedding abroad, so are flights and accommodation.

How much does bridal makeup cost?

Do you come to me on the wedding morning?
Yes, at your location, anywhere in Israel. Almost none of the work happens in a studio.

Yes. The bridal party, the mothers and the family, added by number on top of the bridal price.
Do you work with religious and Orthodox brides?
Yes, gladly. Moran works with religious and Orthodox brides, and adapts both the look and the getting-ready morning to whatever matters to you. Anything that needs arranging in advance is settled in the consultation.
How long does the makeup take on the day?
An hour, ninety minutes at the outside. The morning is planned backwards from the hour the door has to open.
